The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Tournament was held from October 6-10 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The event drew 1,316 entries and had a prize pool of $6,580,000.

The winner was Dan Zack of Boca Raton, Florida, who took home $1,175,000 for his first place finish.

Zack started the final table in second chip position with 3.2 million chips. He moved into the lead early on and never relinquished it.
