What Are the Rules for Shot Roulette?

Shot roulette is a drinking game that can be played with either alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. The game is simple: each player has a shot glass, and the group takes turns spinning a roulette wheel.

Where the wheel stops, the player whose shot glass is in front of that number must drink their beverage.

There are a few different variations of shot roulette, but the most common one is played with a standard Roulette wheel. For this version, each player has their own color shot glass, and the wheel is spun counter-clockwise.

The player whose shot glass is in front of the number where the ball lands must drink their beverage. If the ball lands on 0 or 00, then everyone must drink.

Another variation of shot roulette is played with two Roulette wheels. One wheel is regular, and the other wheel has only two colors: black and red. The two wheels are spun at the same time, and whichever color the ball lands on dictates which players have to drink. If the ball landed on black, then all of the players who have black shot glasses would have to drink.

If the ball landed on red, then all of those players would have to drink. This variation is often called “double or nothing” because it’s either all or nothing when it comes to who has to drink.
