Another account comes from former prisoner of war Ronald Ridenhour. He says that he saw multiple prisoners being forced to play Russian Roulette by the Viet Cong.

He says that it was a very common form of torture that was used by them.

These accounts make it very clear that the Viet Cong did indeed force American prisoners of war to play Russian Roulette as a form of torture. It is unknown how often this occurred, but it was definitely not rare.

The mental and emotional toll that this took on the prisoners was immense.
