Do Casino Blackjack Dealers Cheat?

Casino blackjack dealers are some of the most watched people in the gambling industry. With cameras constantly monitoring their every move, it would be nearly impossible for them to cheat without being caught.

However, that doesn’t mean that there haven’t been dealers who have tried to cheat. In fact, there have been several high-profile cases of blackjack dealers cheating.

In 2012, a blackjack dealer at the Bellagio in Las Vegas was caught cheating. He was using a device called a “shiner” to see the cards of the players at his table.

This allowed him to signal to his accomplices what cards they should bet on. The dealer and his accomplices were caught and arrested.

In another case, a blackjack dealer at the Borgata in Atlantic City was caught cheating. He was using a technique called “false shuffling” to manipulate the cards in the deck.

This allowed him to know what cards were coming next and signaled to his accomplices when to bet.

So, while it is very unlikely that a casino blackjack dealer will cheat, it is not impossible. If you are worried about being cheated, you can always ask to see the deck before you start playing.
