Does Sioux Falls Have a Casino?

Sioux Falls is the largest city in South Dakota, and it is home to a variety of businesses and attractions. One thing that Sioux Falls does not have, however, is a casino.

There have been several attempts to bring a casino to Sioux Falls, but so far all of them have been unsuccessful.

The most recent attempt to build a casino in Sioux Falls was in 2014, when the city council voted against a proposal to build a $40 million dollar casino just off of Interstate 90. The main reason that the casino was rejected was because of the potential negative impact it could have on the city’s image.

PRO TIP:Sioux Falls, South Dakota does not have a casino. However, there are several casinos located within an hour’s drive of the city, including Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort, Royal River Casino & Hotel, and Larchwood Casino.

Sioux Falls is known for being a family-friendly city, and many people felt that a casino would not fit with that image.

There are also some practical concerns about building a casino in Sioux Falls. The city is already home to several large casinos, including one in nearby Mitchell, SD.

These casinos already bring in a lot of revenue from Sioux Falls residents, and it’s unclear if there would be enough business for another one. Additionally, casinos can be very expensive to build and maintain, and there’s no guarantee that one would be successful in Sioux Falls.

For now, it seems unlikely that Sioux Falls will get its own casino. However, if the state of South Dakota ever changes its lAWS to allow for more casinos, or if the economics of the situation change, there’s a chance that Sioux Falls could finally get its own gambling destination.
