How Do I Enable PCI Slots in BIOS?

Most computers are now shipped without PCI slots, as most peripherals now use USB. However, some older computers may still have PCI slots.

If you have a PCI card that you need to use, you’ll need to enable the PCI slots in your BIOS.

To do this, reboot your computer and press the key to enter the BIOS. This is usually DEL, F1, or F2. Once in the BIOS, look for a section called “Peripherals” or “PnP/PCI”. Within this section, there will be an option to enable or disable the PCI slots.

Enable this option and save your changes. Exit the BIOS and boot into Windows.

Your PCI card should now be working. If it’s not, make sure that it’s properly seated in the slot and that all drivers are installed.
