How Do You Get Attunement Slots in Dark Souls 1?

In the first Dark Souls game, attunement slots were not automatically unlocked. Instead, players had to find and use specific items called “Attune Magic” to add additional slots.

These items were located throughout the game world, often in difficult-to-reach places.

There was a total of 12 Attune Magic items in the game, which would unlock a total of 30 attunement slots. However, only 20 of those slots could be used at any one time.

The other 10 were reserved for specific spells that could only be equipped in those slots.

Players often had to make tough choices about which spells to equip and which to leave behind. This added an extra layer of strategy and thought to the game.

In Dark Souls II, attunement slots were changed to work differently. Now, players automatically had two attunement slots from the start of the game.

Additional slots could be unlocked by spending points in the Attunement stat.

This allowed players to have more freedom in choosing their spells, and made it easier to experiment with different combinations.

The number of attunement slots available was increased again in Dark Souls III. Now, players start with three attunement slots and can unlock a fourth by spending points in the Attunement stat.

This change was made in response to feedback from players who felt that the previous games were too restrictive in terms of spell choice.

The fourth slot opens up a whole new range of possibilities for player builds and strategies. Whether you’re new to the series or a seasoned veteran, be sure to make use of those extra attunement slots in Dark Souls III!.
