How Do You Get More Attunement Slots in Dark Souls 2?

In Dark Souls 2, attunement slots are used to determine how many spells can be attuned at any given time. The player begins the game with 2 attunement slots, and can obtain up to 4 more through various means.

The first and most straightforward method is to simply find and purchase Attunement Spheres from merchants throughout the game. These can be traded for at the Merchant in Majula, located near the bonfire. She will give you 1 Attunement Sphere for each of the following:

10,000 Souls

30,000 Souls

100,000 Souls

Another method of obtaining additional attunement slots is by leveling up your character. Each time you increase your character level by 5, you will gain 1 additional attunement slot up to a maximum of 10 total slots.

This means that if you want to max out your number of attunement slots, you’ll need to reach character level 50.
