How Do You Play Blackjack Cards?

Blackjack is a card game that is played with a regular deck of 52 cards. The aim of the game is to beat the dealer’s hand by either getting a higher score than the dealer, or by making the dealer go bust.

The game is played with one or more decks of cards, with each player being dealt two cards face down. The dealer then deals themselves two cards, one face up and one face down.

The face up card is called the ‘up-card’ and the face down card is called the ‘hole-card’.

If the player has a blackjack (a score of 21 made up of an Ace and a 10 value card) then they automatically win, unless the dealer also has a blackjack in which case it’s a ‘push’ (a draw).

PRO TIP:Blackjack is a card game that is easy to learn and can be a fun and exciting way to enjoy yourself. The goal of the game is to get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Start by placing your bet, then the dealer will deal cards from left to right, starting with you. Each card is worth its face value, with face cards (Jack, Queen, King) worth 10 points each. Aces are worth 1 or 11 points. After all cards are dealt, you must decide whether to hit (take another card) or stay (keep your current hand). The dealer will then do the same. If your hand is closer to 21 than the dealer’s hand without going over, you win!

If the player doesn’t have a blackjack, then they can either ‘stand’ (keep their current hand), ‘hit’ (take another card to try and improve their hand), ‘double down’ (double their bet and take another card) or ‘split’ (if they have two cards of the same value they can split their hand into two separate hands).

Once all the players have finished their turn, the dealer then reveals their hole-card and takes their own turn. The dealer must hit on 16 or below and stand on 17 or above.

If the dealer goes bust then all players who are still in the hand win.

The game of blackjack is a fun and easy to learn casino game that can be enjoyed by players of all levels of experience. So why not give it a try next time you visit your local casino?.
