How Do You Play Blackjack Machine?

In casinos, blackjack is played on a specially made table that is semi-circular in shape. The game is played with six or eight decks of cards that are shuffled together.

A blackjack table has room for up to seven players. There are three betting spots for each player, one for their main bet and two for side bets.

The aim of blackjack is to beat the dealer’s hand by either having a hand that totals higher than the dealer’s, or by the dealer going bust and you not. If you and the dealer have the same hand then it is a push, and your bet is returned to you.

Before any cards are dealt, each player must place a bet in their relevant betting spot. Once all bets have been placed, the dealer will deal out two cards to each player, including themselves.

One of the dealer’s cards will be face up so that all players can see it, but the other will be face down. All of the player’s cards will be face up.

The value of each hand is determined by adding together the values of each card in the hand. The Ace can count as either 1 or 11, depending on what is best for the hand.

All other cards count as their numerical value (2-10). The value of the Jack, Queen and King are all 10.

PRO TIP:When playing Blackjack on a machine, it is important to remember that the machine will always follow specific rules. It is important to familiarize yourself with the different rules of the game for each type of machine in order to maximize your chances of winning. Additionally, be sure to take advantage of any bonuses or promotions offered by the machine, as these can help increase your winnings.

Once everyone has their two cards, play begins with the player to the dealers left and then continues clockwise around the table. Each player must decide whether to hit or stand.

To hit means to ask for another card from the dealer. To stand means to keep the hand you have and end your turn.

If at any point your hand totals more than 21 then you have gone bust and automatically lose your bet, even if the dealer later goes on to go bust themselves.

Once all players have had their turn, if anyone has not gone bust then it is now time for the dealer to reveal their face down card and take their own turn according to set rules. The dealer must always hit if they have 16 or less, and must always stand on 17 or more. If the dealer has an Ace showing then they will offer insurance to any player who has a blackjack (a hand totaling 21).

This costs half of your original bet and pays out 2:1 if successful. It is generally considered a bad bet as it has a high house edge of 7%.

If at any point during play both you and the dealer have blackjack then it results in a push (a tie) and your original bet is returned to you. Otherwise, whoever has closest to 21 without going over wins the hand and is paid out at 1:1 on their bet (excluding side bets).

If only the dealer has blackjack then all players lose their main bet except those who also have blackjack, who are paid out at 3:2 on their main bet instead.
