How Do You Play Blackjack With Chips?

In a casino, blackjack is played with chips, which are small discs used as a substitute for cash. In order to play blackjack with chips, you will need to purchase them from the casino in exchange for cash.

The amount of chips you will need to purchase will depend on the betting limits of the table you are playing at. Once you have your chips, you will need to place them on the betting area of the table in order to make your wagers.

To place a bet, you will simply need to put your chips on the desired area of the table. For example, if you want to bet $10 on a hand, you would put 1 chip on the 10 dollar mark. If you want to bet $5 on a hand, you would put 1 chip on the 5 dollar mark.

Once all players have placed their bets, the dealer will deal out 2 cards to each player and 2 cards to themselves. The dealer will then flip over one of their cards so that all players can see it.

Players then have the option to either hit or stand. Hitting means that you would like to receive another card from the dealer in hopes of improving your hand. Standing means that you are happy with the cards you have and do not wish to receive any more.

Once all players have either hit or stood, the dealer will then reveal their second card and proceed with taking hits or standing themselves based on the rules of the game. If at any point during the game your hand totals more than 21, this is called a bust and you automatically lose your bet.

The game continues until all players have either busted or the dealer has reached 17 or higher. If at any point during the game your hand equals the same value as the dealers, this is called a push and no one wins or loses their bet.
