The tournament will begin at 7pm EST on Friday evenings. It is important to be logged in and ready to play by this time, as late registration is not allowed.

The tournament will be played using Texas Hold’em rules.

Once the tournament has begun, you will be seated at a random table with 9 other players. The goal is to make it through all rounds of play and be the last player standing with chips.

Each hand, you will be dealt 2 cards face down (your “hole cards”) and 5 community cards will be dealt face up in the middle of the table (the “flop”). Betting begins with the player to the left of the dealer and continues clockwise around the table until all players have either folded or called the current bet.

If there are still more than one player remaining after the flop, another card (the “turn”) is dealt face up in the middle of the table. Betting begins again with the player to the left of the dealer and continues clockwise around the table until all players have either folded or called the current bet.

If there are still more than one player remaining after turn, one final card (the “river”) is dealt face up in middle of table. Betting begins again with player left of dealer and continues clockwise around table until all players have either folded or called current bet.

If more than one player remains after river betting round has completed, there is a “showdown” where each player remaining reveals their hole cards and best 5 card hand is determined. The pot is awarded to best hand remaining!.
