How Do You Play Poker Solitaire?

First, you need a deck of cards. You can use a regular deck of 52 cards, or a special Poker Solitaire deck.

If using a regular deck, you will need to remove the Jokers.

Shuffle the deck and then deal out seven columns of cards, face up. The first column should have one card, the second column should have two cards, and so on.

Once all the cards are dealt, you will then need to choose which card is the start card. This can be any card you want, but it is usually best to choose a low card so that you have more options open to you as you play.

The aim of the game is to build each column up into poker hands. The first card in each column is the start card, and you can build off of this using the other cards in that column.

PRO TIP:Poker Solitaire is a great game to play if you want to practice your card counting and strategy. To win, you must create the strongest poker hand by arranging the cards into five columns. Each column must have five cards with no two cards in the same column being of the same rank. As you arrange the cards, keep an eye out for potential hands that can help you score big points!

For example, if your start card is an Ace, you can then add a Two or a Three to make a straight.

You can only move one card at a time, and you can only move it to an empty space or to another column where it will make a valid poker hand. Once all the columns are full of poker hands, you then need to score your hand.

The highest scoring hand is a Royal Flush, which is 10-J-Q-K-A of the same suit. The next highest is a Straight Flush, which is any five cards in sequence of the same suit.

Four of a Kind (all four Aces, for example) scores next highest, followed by a Full House (three of one kind and two of another), Flush (any five cards of the same suit), Straight (any five cards in sequence), Three of a Kind, Two Pair and finally One Pair. If there are two or more players tied with the same score, then the tied players share the winnings equally.

Poker Solitaire is a fun and challenging game that can be enjoyed by players of all ages. Give it a try today!.
