The first class you will unlock is the Soldier. The Soldier is a jack-of-all-trades class and is good at both offense and defense.

The fifth class you can unlock is the Thief. The Thief is a stealthy character who specializes in stealing items and opening locked chests.
To unlock the Thief, you will need to complete the side quest “The Great Vault”.
The sixth class you can unlock is the Elementalist. The Elementalist is a magic user who specializes in using elemental damage to take down enemies.
To unlock the Elementalist, you will need to complete the side quest “Trial of Elements”.
The seventh class you can unlock is the Gunner. The Gunner is a tanky character who specializes in using heavy weapons to take down enemies.
To unlock the Gunner, you will need to complete the side quest “Ammo Dump”.
The eighth class you can unlock is the Assassin. The Assassin is a stealthy character who specializes in taking down enemies quickly and silently.
To unlock the Assassin, you will need to complete the side quest “Data Mining”.
The ninth class you can unlock is the Mechromancer. The Mechromancer is a robotic character who specializes in controlling mechanical allies in battle.
