A poker hand is a combination of five cards. There are a total of 2,598,960 possible hands including straight flushes and royal flushes. The odds of being dealt a specific hand are:

– Full house: 1 in 693
– Flush: 1 in 509

The vast majority of poker hands are going to be worthless junk like 7-2 offsuit or J-5 suited. Aces are the most commonly occurring card, followed by kings, queens, jacks, 10s, and so on down to 2s.
