How Many M 2 Slots Does the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme Have?

Gigabyte’s X570 Aorus Xtreme is one of the company’s top-of-the-line motherboards for AMD’s Ryzen 3000 series processors. It’s packed with features and costs a pretty penny. But one thing it doesn’t have is a ton of M.

2 slots. So, how many M.2 slots does the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme have?.

Exclusive Slots & Free Spins Offers:

The answer is two. Two M.2 slots, to be exact. That’s it.

Which is kind of a bummer, considering that the motherboard costs $500 and has eight SATA ports. Don’t get us wrong, those two M.2 slots are still very fast. They’re just not as fast as some of the other options out there.

If you’re looking for a motherboard with more M.2 slots, you’ll need to look elsewhere. The Asus ROG Strix X470-F Gaming has four M.2 slots, for example.

So does the MSI MEG X299 Creation. And if you really want to go all out, the Gigabyte Aorus X299 Gaming 9 has eight M.2 slots. Of course, all of those boards are significantly more expensive than the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme.

So, if you’re looking for a high-end motherboard with a ton of M.2 slots, the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme isn’t for you.

But if you’re okay with two M.2 slots, then this board is definitely worth considering – especially if you can find it on sale for less than $500.
