The board has four rows of 30 holes, called “streets.” The two outer rows are for the players’ pegs, and the inner two rows are for the crib.

The streets are named after their respective numbers: first, second, third, and fourth. The first street is also called “the starter.”.

The game is played with two pegs per player, which are moved around the board according to the rolls of a dice. The game can also be played with three or four players, in which case each player would have their own peg.

The objective of the game is to be the first player to reach 121 points. Points are scored by creating certain card combinations and by moving one’s peg into certain positions on the board. For example, a player gets two points for each pair of cards that they create.

A player also gets one point for each time their peg lands on or goes past the finish line. The finish line is located at the end of the fourth street.

To win the game, a player must reach 121 points before their opponent does. If both players reach 121 points in the same turn, then the player with the most points wins.
