It is located off Interstate 5 at Exit 16, about 30 miles (48 km) north of Portland, Oregon.

The Cowlitz Tribe broke ground on the $510 million casino resort in 2015. It is the tribe’s first gaming facility.

The tribe expects the casino to create 1,000 jobs.

The casino is located on 152 acres (61 ha) of land owned by the tribe. The tribe purchased the land in 2013 for $9 million.

The project was financed with $250 million in bonds and $260 million in loans. The tribe also contributed $100 million to the project.

The casino is managed by Salish Management Group, LLC, a joint venture between the Cowlitz Tribe and Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment.
