What Casino Did Bugsy Siegel Open?

Bugsy Siegel was a gangster who became one of the most infamous mobsters in America. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 28, 1906. He was raised in a poor immigrant family and dropped out of school in the 8th grade. He began his criminal career as a member of the Bugs and Meyer Mob, a group of Jewish gangsters. He later joined the Italian-American Mafia and rose to power in the Las Vegas crime family. In 1941, he opened the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
