In July 2018, Hard Rock International announced that it would take over the former Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City. The deal was completed in March 2019, and the casino was renamed the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

The property features 2,000 hotel rooms, a casino with 120 table games and 2,200 slot machines, a theater, 13 restaurants, and 20 bars and nightclubs.
