What Casino Has Willy Wonka?

In 1971, Willy Wonka, the eccentric and reclusive owner of the Wonka Candy Company, holds a contest by hiding five Golden Tickets in global locations inside his company’s chocolate Wonka Bars. The finders of these tickets will be given a tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of chocolate. Augustus Gloop, a gluttonous German boy, finds the first ticket in his homeland. Veruca Salt, a spoiled British girl, finds the second ticket.

Violet Beauregarde, an aggressive American girl, finds the third ticket. Mike Teevee, a television-obsessed boy from Denver, Colorado, finds the fourth ticket. Charlie Bucket, a poor boy from London who lives with his parents and four grandparents in a rundown house near the factory, finds the last ticket.

PRO TIP:Willy Wonka themed slot machines can be found in a number of different casinos, including those located in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Macau. However, the original Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory slot machine is only available at the MGM Grand Las Vegas.

While visiting the factory with their respective parents or guardians (except for Mike Teevee, whose mother does not let him go), each child breaks one of Wonka’s rules; Augustus falls into the Chocolate River and is sucked up into one of the pipes; Veruca demands an oompa-loompa and is thrown down a garbage chute; Violet chews gum that she found in the Inventing Room and turns into a blueberry; Mike steps into one of Wonka’s television transport devices without permission and is sent to television land; and Charlie disobeys Wonka’s warning not to touch anything in the Fizzy Lifting Drink room and is nearly lifted out of the factory by hundreds of soda bubbles. As punishment for their actions, Augustus is sent to work in the boiler room with Slugworth while Veruca is thrown out with her father after going down an incinerator chute; Violet is placed under observation in the Juicing Room where her condition starts to improve; and Mike is put into detention with several other bad children where he meets Charlie.

Wonka tells Charlie that he has been waiting for him and that he is not like other children because he does not want anything from Wonka except for one thing: to see his family happy. Touched by this gesture, Charlie agrees to help Wonka with his plan to find an heir for his chocolate factory.

The next day, Charlie returns home to find that his grandparents have been given new teeth and can now eat properly again; his parents have been given new jobs at the factory; and he has been given a lifetime supply of chocolate.
