What Happened to Roulette Doritos?

In the late 1990s, Frito-Lay released a brand new flavor of Doritos chips – Roulette Doritos. These chips were basically regular Doritos, but with a twist – one in every six chips was supposedly flavored with a hot chili pepper.

This made for a fun and spicy game of chance for snackers, as they never knew when they would get the fiery chip.

PRO TIP:Roulette Doritos have been discontinued in the United States, but they are still available in some countries such as Mexico and Argentina. If you’re looking to get your hands on some of these spicy chips, try an online retailer that specializes in international snacks.

Roulette Doritos were only available for a limited time and were eventually discontinued. It’s unclear why Frito-Lay decided to stop production of the chips, but it’s possible that they simply didn’t sell well.

Or, maybe the company found that the chili pepper flavor was too intense for most people and decided to scrap the idea altogether.

Whatever the reason, Roulette Doritos are no longer on store shelves. However, if you’re craving a spicy snack, you can still find plenty of other chili pepper-flavored chips to choose from.
