What Is Dozen in Roulette?

A dozen bet is a bet on one of three consecutive dozens on the Roulette table (1-12, 13-24 or 25-36). This bet pays 2 to 1.

Dozen bets are often used by Roulette players as a way to reduce the house edge. By betting on all three dozens, a player is covering two-thirds of the wheel and should win more often than lose overall.
