Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games in the world. The game is played with a standard deck of 52 cards, and the objective is to beat the dealer’s hand by having a higher point total than the dealer without going over 21.

The game begins with each player placing a bet. The dealer then deals two cards to each player and two cards to himself, one face up and one face down.

Once all players have either busted or chosen to stand, it is then the dealer’s turn to play. The dealer must hit if his hand totals 16 or less and must stand if his hand totals 17 or more.

If the dealer busts, all players who are still in the game win their bets.

If the dealer does not bust, then the player’s hand total is compared to the dealer’s hand total. If the player has a higher total than the dealer, he wins his bet.

If the dealer has a higher total than the player, he wins and if it is a tie, it is a push and no money changes hands.
