What Is the Difference Between Pontoon and Blackjack?

Pontoon is a popular card game that is played with a regular 52-card deck. The game is usually played with four players, but can be played with more.

The object of the game is to have the highest score at the end of the hand, and the winner is the player with the highest score.

The basic rules of pontoon are similar to those of blackjack. Each player is dealt two cards face down, and then one card face up.

The dealer also deals himself two cards, one face down and one face up. The face up card is called the “up” card, and the face down card is called the “hole” card.

The player to the left of the dealer starts the hand, and play passes clockwise around the table. On their turn, each player has a few options. They can “stand”, which means they are happy with their hand and don’t want to draw any more cards. They can “hit”, which means they want to draw another card from the deck.

They can also “double down”, which means they double their bet and take just one more card. Finally, they can “split” if they have two cards of the same rank, which means they split their bet and play two separate hands.

Once all players have had their turn, it is then up to the dealer to play his hand. The dealer must hit on 16 or less, and must stand on 17 or more.

If the dealer goes over 21, this is called a “bust” and all players who are still in the hand win their bet.
