What Is the Highest Poker Hand?

A poker hand is the highest combination of cards that a player can have in their hand at any given time. The rank of the poker hand is determined by the highest card in the hand, with the second highest card used to break any ties. The following is a list of the different ranks of poker hands, from highest to Lowest:

Royal Flush: A royal flush is the highest possible hand in poker and is made up of the ace, king, queen, jack and ten of one suit.

Straight Flush: A straight flush is a hand that contains five cards of sequential rank, all of the same suit.

Four of a Kind: Four of a kind, also known as quads, is a hand that contains four cards of equal rank.

Full House: A full house is a hand that contains three cards of one rank and two cards of another rank.

High Card: A high card hand is one that does not contain any pairs, straights or flushes, and its value is determined by its highest card.
