Margaritaville Resort Casino is located on Bossier City’s waterfront along the Red River. It is adjacent to Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel, which is owned by the Chitimacha Tribe of Louisiana.
The fifth largest gambling venue in the market is Boomtown Casino Hotel Bossier City, which is owned by Penn National Gaming. The property includes a hotel with over 500 rooms and suites, as well as an RV park with over 100 spaces.
Boomtown also features a horse racing track, but no live racing takes place there currently. Betting on historical horse races simulcast from other tracks around the country is available though. .
The largest casino in Shreveport according to gaming space is Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino with 215,000 square feet of gaming space.
