What Is Video Blackjack?

Video blackjack is a blackjack game played on a video screen. It is similar to live blackjack, except that it is played against a computer instead of against other players.

The object of the game is to beat the dealer’s hand by having a higher point total than the dealer, without going over 21.

The player and dealer each start with two cards. The player’s cards are dealt face up, while the dealer’s cards are dealt face down.

The player can then choose to hit (take another card), stand (keep their current hand), double down (double their bet and take one more card), split (if they have two of the same card, they can split their hand into two hands and play them separately), or surrender (give up half their bet and end their hand).

If the player’s hand goes over 21, they bust and lose their bet. If the dealer busts, the player wins.

Otherwise, the highest hand total wins.
