What States Are Online Casino Legal?

As of June 2019, online casino gambling is not yet legal in the state of California. However, lawmakers are currently considering a bill that would legalize online casino gambling in the state.

If the bill is passed, California would become the fourth state in the US to legalize online casino gambling.

The bill, known as AB 9, was introduced by Assemblyman Adam Gray in February 2019. If passed, the bill would allow for the operation of online casinos within the state of California.

At this time, it is unclear when or if AB 9 will be voted on by the full California Assembly. However, if the bill does pass, it would then need to be approved by Governor Gavin Newsom before it could become law.

Online casino gambling is currently legal in three states in the US: Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware. If California passes AB 9, it would become the fourth state to legalize online casino gambling.
