What Was Blackjack Mulligan Cause of Death?

Wrestler Blackjack Mulligan, real name Robert Deroy Windham, died on Thursday, April 7th at the age of 82. The cause of death has not been released.

Mulligan was a member of the original four-man tag team The Blackjacks with Blackjack Lanza. The team was one of the top tag teams in the 1960s and 1970s and won the World Tag Team Championship three times.

PRO TIP:Blackjack Mulligan suffered from congestive heart failure and kidney failure, and died at the age of 73 in 2016. His death was attributed to a combination of his health issues and complications from rheumatoid arthritis.

Mulligan also had a successful singles career, winning the United States Championship and the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

After retiring from wrestling, Mulligan opened a successful bar in Atlantic City. He also worked as a commentator for World Championship Wrestling in the 1990s.

Mulligan is survived by his wife, Barbara, and his four children. His cause of death has not been released.
