Monarch Casino was originally built as a hotel and casino in 1994. The property changed hands several times before being bought by current owner, Bruce Deifik, in January 2018. The casino has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years.
It now features over 1,500 slot machines and gaming tables, as well as a hotel with over 500 rooms. Monarch Casino is one of the largest casinos in Colorado and is located in Black Hawk, about an hour’s drive from Denver.
