Where Are the $10 Blackjack Tables in Vegas?

In recent years, the $10 blackjack table has become increasingly rare on the Las Vegas Strip. While there are still a few to be found, they are mostly at lower-end casinos and are often crowded with novice players.

So where have all the $10 blackjack tables gone? The simple answer is that they’ve been replaced by higher minimum tables. As the Strip has become more UPScale, the casinos have followed suit and raised their table limits.

This trend started in the early 2000s and picked up steam after the Great Recession. Casinos were struggling and needed to find ways to increase revenue.

One way they did this was by reducing the number of $10 tables and replacing them with $25 or even $50 tables.

The higher limits had two effects: first, it helped to increase casino profits; and second, it helped to keep high-rollers happy (who were often leaving Vegas for other destinations that offered higher stakes).

So while it’s unfortunate for casual players who just want to sit down and have some low-stakes fun, the reality is that the days of plentiful $10 blackjack tables on the Strip are long gone. If you want to play blackjack in Vegas these days, you’ll likely have to ante up a bit more than you used to.
