In 2003, the Seneca Nation of Indians purchased the former Niagara Falls Convention and Civic Center from the City of Niagara Falls for $12 million. The Senecas then demolished the convention center and constructed a $130 million casino on the site.

The Seneca Gaming Corporation operates the casino, which features more than 2,400 slot machines and 100 gaming tables.
