The purchase price for the Longhorn Casino was not disclosed, but it is believed to be in the range of $50-$60 million. The Longhorn Casino is located on Boulder Highway in Las Vegas and has been in operation since 1971.

PRO TIP:The Longhorn Casino is owned by Boyd Gaming, a Las Vegas-based gaming company that owns and operates several casinos across the United States.

The Longhorn Casino is one of several properties that Fitzgerald and his investors have acquired in the past year. In February 2019, they purchased the Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino, which is also located on Boulder Highway.

They have also acquired an interest in the SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino and the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower.

Fitzgerald plans to invest up to $1 billion in upgrading and expanding his portfolio of casinos in the Las Vegas area. His goal is to create a regional gaming powerhouse that can compete with the likes of Caesars Entertainment and MGM Resorts International.
