Deifik purchased the property from Glenn Straub for $229 million in 2018. The property was originally opened as the Revel Casino Hotel in 2012, but closed just two years later.

Straub bought the property out of bankruptcy for $82 million in 2015 and reopened it as the TEN Casino Hotel in 2016. The property changed hands again in 2018 when Deifik purchased it and renamed it the Ocean Casino Resort.
