Why Do Warlocks Only Get 2 Spell Slots?

When it comes to warlocks, they only have access to two spell slots. This is due to the fact that they have made a deal with a powerful being, such as a devil, in order to gain access to their magical abilities.

While this may seem like a small price to pay, it is actually a pretty big drawback.

The reason why warlocks only have two spell slots is because they are not able to generate their own magical power. Instead, they have to rely on the being that they made their deal with in order to access their magic.

This means that if their patron decides to cut off their access to magic, then the warlock would be left without any spells to cast.

While the drawback of only having two spell slots may seem like a small price to pay for the power that warlocks gain, it is actually a pretty big hindrance. It would be much better if warlocks had access to more spell slots so that they would not have to worry about their patron cutting off their access to magic.
