How Many PCIe Slots Are Available for I O Port Options on the NetBackup 5340 Appliance?

The NetBackup 5340 appliance has a total of four PCIe slots that can be used for I/O port options. The first two slots are used for the optional 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) ports, and the second two slots are used for the optional Fiber Channel (FC) ports.

If you do not need the 10GbE or FC ports, you can use all four slots for other purposes.

Some of the other I/O port options that are available for the NetBackup 5340 appliance include:

1. USB 3.0 ports – There are two USB 3.

0 ports on the front of the appliance, and two more on the back. These can be used for connecting external storage devices, or for other purposes.
