How Do You Play a Live Poker Dealer?

In a game of poker, the dealer is responsible for dealing the cards to the players and managing the pot. In a live game, the dealer also has to be able to read the players and know when to fold, call or raise.

The first thing a live poker dealer needs to do is shuffle the deck. The dealer will then deal each player two cards, face down. These are called hole cards.

Once all players have their hole cards, the dealer will then deal three community cards, face up in the middle of the table. These are called the flop.

After the flop, each player can choose to either call, raise or fold. If someone raises, then all other players must either call or fold. Once all bets are placed, the dealer will deal one more community card, called the turn. Again, players can choose to either call, raise or fold.

After the turn, one final community card is dealt, called the river. At this point, all remaining players must show their cards and the player with the best hand wins the pot.

A live poker dealer needs to be able to keep track of all of the action and know when it is their turn to deal. They also need to be able to pay attention to what is going on at all times and make sure that there is no cheating going on.
