Zynga Poker is a social game developed by Zynga as an application for the social-networking website Facebook as well as Android, iPhone, Windows Phone, and MySpace. It was created and launched in July 2007.
Since then, Zynga Poker has become the world’s largest free-to-play poker game with over 7 million daily active players and over 38 million monthly active players.
As of October 2014, Zynga Poker has over 36 million likes on Facebook.
To play Zynga Poker on Facebook, simply go to the website and log in with your Facebook account. Then, click on the “Play Now” button.
You will be taken to a new page where you can choose to play in a casino or in a tournament.
If you choose to play in a casino, you will be taken to a virtual casino lobby where you can pick a table to sit at and start playing. If you choose to play in a tournament, you will be taken to a page where you can see all of the upcoming tournaments.
Click on the one that you want to join and then click on the “Register” button.
Once you are at the table, you will see a number of chips in front of you. These are your starting chips.
The object of the game is to make more money than everyone else at the table by winning hands.
To start playing, simply click on the chip amount that you want to bet and then click on the “Bet” button. Once everyone has bet, the dealer will deal out two cards to each player face down.
The player with the small blind will start the betting round by either calling the big blind (betting an amount equal to the big blind), raising (betting more than the big blind), or folding (giving up their hand).
The betting then goes around the table until it gets back to the small blind/big blind position. At this point, if everyone has called or folded except for one player, that player wins the pot without having to show their cards.
If there is more than one player still in the hand after the betting round is complete, then those players will show their cards and the player with the best hand will win the pot.
The best hand in poker is a royal flush which is a straight flush (all cards of one suit in numerical order from 10-A) including a 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace. The next best hand is a straight flush followed by four of a kind, full house, flush, straight, three of a kind, two pair, and one pair respectively.
If two players have hands of equal value (e.g., two full houses), then they split the pot evenly between them.
