How Do I Use GD&T Slots?

Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, or GD&T, is a system for specifying the size, shape, and orientation of features on a part. In GD&T, slots are used to control the orientation of features relative to each other.

There are two types of slots: feature control frames and datum Target frames. Feature control frames are used to control the size and orientation of a feature relative to other features on the part.
