On the Desktop version and Mobile version ,the player starts with 10 accessory slots and can unlock an additional 10 accessory slots by completing certain tasks . On Console versions and Old-gen console versions ,the player starts with 20 accessory slots .
The player can also purchase additional inventory space from the Traveling Merchant .
In order to get more equipment slots in Terraria, the player must either unlock more slots through gameplay or purchase additional inventory space from the Traveling Merchant.
