Infusion slots are a new feature in Guild Wars 2 that allows players to enhance their weapons and armor with various stat-boosting gems. These slots can be found on all kinds of gear, from the lowliest of crafted items to the most powerful legendary weapons.
In order to use an infusion slot, simply right-click on the desired piece of equipment and select the “Infuse” option.

There are four different types of infusions:
Power: Increases power damage.
Precision: Increases precision damage.
Toughness: Increases toughness.
Vitality: Increases vitality.
Each type of infusion provides a different benefit, so it’s important to choose the right one for your needs. For example, if you’re a warrior who relies heavily on power damage, you’ll want to look for gear with power infusion slots.
On the other hand, if you’re a ranger who relies more on precision damage, you’ll want gear with precision infusion slots.
Once you’ve selected the type of infusion you want, the next step is to choose which gem you want to use. There are four different levels of gems, each providing a different bonus:
Minor: +2% bonus
Major: +5% bonus
Superior: +10% bonus
Rare: +15% bonus
The higher the level of the gem, the greater the bonus it provides. However, keep in mind that rare gems are much harder to come by than lower-level gems.
When selecting a gem for your infusion slot, always choose the highest-level gem you can find.
Once you’ve chosen the desired gem, simply drag it into the appropriate infusion slot and watch as your equipment’s stats get a nice boost!.
