Is Foxwoods Resort Casino Closed?

Foxwoods Resort Casino is closed. The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation announced the closure of the casino on Tuesday, March 17.

The decision was made in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The health and safety of our guests, employees and community is our top priority,” said Rodney Butler, Chairman of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. “After careful consideration, and in accordance with the guidance of state and federal officials, we have made the difficult decision to close Foxwoods Resort Casino.”
