Is the Point Casino Closed?

The Point Casino in Washington state is closed, effective immediately. This closure is due to the coronavirus pandemic and the recent stay-at-home order issued by Governor Jay Inslee.

The casino had been operating on a reduced schedule since mid-March, but the new order requires all businesses to close except for essential services. The Point Casino is owned and operated by the Suquamish Tribe, which released the following statement regarding the closure:.

The Point Casino is not the only gambling establishment in Washington state to close due to the pandemic. The Tulalip Resort Casino, also owned by a Native American tribe, announced a temporary closure on March 16.

The resort has since reopened, but with limited hours and capacity.
