What Actress Is a Professional Poker Player?

In 2004, Jennifer Harman-Traniello joined the ranks of professional poker players. The two-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner has a long list of accomplishments in the poker world.

She is also an actress, appearing in such films as “Rounders” (1998) and “Lucky You” (2007).

Harman-Traniello’s first foray into the world of professional poker came about when she was just 21 years old. She had been playing in small-stakes games with her boyfriend at the time and decided to enter a WSOP event.

She ended up winning her first bracelet in the $2,000 Limit Hold’em event, besting a field of 180 players.

Just two years later, Harman-Traniello won her second WSOP bracelet in the $5,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo event. She defeated a field of 103 players to take home the first-place prize of $244,259.

In addition to her two WSOP bracelets, Harman-Traniello has also made three final tables at the World Poker Tour (WPT). Her best finish came in 2005 when she placed second in the WPT Ladies’ Night Invitational event.

Most recently, she had a small role in the 2007 film “Lucky You” starring Eric Bana and Drew Barrymore.

Harman-Traniello currently resides in Las Vegas with her husband Marco Traniello and their two children. When she’s not busy being a mom or grinding away at the poker tables, she enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors.
