What Happened to Terrible’s Casino?

Terrible’s Casino was a hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada that was in operation from 1972 to 2014. The casino was located on the Las Vegas Strip and was owned and operated by Terrible’s Inc., a gaming company based in Reno, Nevada. The casino had a total of 1,200 slot machines, 24 table games, and a race and sports book.

PRO TIP:Terrible’s Casino closed its doors in August of 2018 due to a decline in business and the inability of the casino to compete with newer, more modern casinos. The closure resulted in the loss of 300 jobs, and the property was sold off to a private entity.

The hotel had 500 rooms, including suites and a penthouse suite. The casino was known for its “Terrible’s” brand of customer service, which included free drinks for guests. The casino closed on February 14, 2014, due to declining revenue and increasing competition from other casinos.
