What Slots Can Have Sockets Wow Shadowlands?

Slots are the spaces in between the armor pieces where players can insert gems, Enchants, and other various items. In World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, slots have been given a new purpose – they can now have sockets!

Sockets are a new type of item that can be placed in slots. When an item with a socket is equipped, the socket becomes active and can be used to insert a gem.

Gems come in three different colors – red, blue, and yellow – and each color corresponds to a different type of secondary stat. For example, red gems provide Mastery, blue gems provide Haste, and yellow gems provide Critical Strike.

Once a gem is placed in a socket, it will provide a bonus to the corresponding secondary stat. The amount of the bonus depends on the quality of the gem. Higher quality gems will provide a bigger bonus. In addition, each socketed item will have two “set bonuses” associated with it.

These set bonuses are activated when a certain number of sockets on the player’s gear are filled with gems of the same color. For example, the 4-piece set bonus for Red gems might be +5% Mastery.

Players can have up to 36 sockets on their gear at any given time – that’s 9 slots with 4 sockets each! This means that players can potentially get massive bonuses to their secondary stats by carefully selecting which items they socket. However, sockets are not without their drawbacks. First of all, they’re expensive! Sockets cost 10 times as much as regular gems to purchase from vendors.

In addition, inserting a gem into a socket will destroy the gem in the process. So, if you’re looking to get the most out of your sockets, you’ll need to be very careful about which gems you choose to put in them.

What Slots Can Have Sockets Wow Shadowlands? All slots can have sockets with the exception of Relic slots.
