MGM began a $50 million renovation of Buffalo Bill’s in 2009 that included the addition of a new nightclub and pool complex called Beach Club at Buffalo Bill’s. The renovation was completed in 2010.

Despite its renovations, Buffalo Bill’s failed to attract enough visitors to make it profitable and MGM announced its plans to close the property in August 2014. The last day of operation was October 30, 2014.
