When Did Seminole Casino Coconut Creek Open?

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek is the second Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino property to open in Broward County. The casino is located on 50 acres of land off of U.S. 441 and State Road 7, near the Seminole Classic Casino Hollywood.

It opened on February 3, 2007 with 50,000 square feet of gaming space, making it the largest casino in Broward County at the time. The casino features over 1,200 slot machines, 40 poker tables, and live table games such as blackjack, baccarat, and roulette.

The Seminole Tribe of Florida purchased the Coconut Creek property in 2003 for $167 million. The tribe then invested another $250 million to build the casino resort.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood opened in 2004, followed by the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa in 2006.

The Coconut Creek casino is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Visitors must be 21 years of age or older to enter the casino.
