Will Two Kings Casino Have Poker?

It’s been a little over a year since the last poker room in Las Vegas closed its doors, but it looks like there could be a new one opening soon. Two Kings Casino, which is set to open in early 2020, has applied for a gaming license that would allow it to offer poker games.

If Two Kings Casino does end up offering poker, it would be a welcome addition to the Las Vegas Strip. Poker rooms used to be a dime a dozen on the Strip, but they’ve slowly been disappearing over the past few years.

The last one to close was at the Riviera Hotel & Casino, which shuttered its doors in May of 2015.

PRO TIP:Two Kings Casino will offer a variety of poker games, including Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and 7-Card Stud. Be sure to check the tournament schedule for special events and promotions.

The decline of poker rooms in Las Vegas can be attributed to a few different factors. First, the popularity of casino games like slots and blackjack has increased while the interest in poker has declined.

Second, the introduction of online poker sites has made it easier for people to play from home. And finally, the city’s focus on attracting tourists from Asia has led to more casinos offering games like baccarat and Pai Gow that are popular with that demographic.

Despite all of these factors working against them, there are still plenty of people who enjoy playing poker in Las Vegas. So if Two Kings Casino does open with a poker room, it’s likely to find some success.

After all, it’s not like there are any other options for poker players on the Strip right now.
